Patient Safety Observer – Per Diem

Role Overview

• Provide continuous safety observation of patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Participate in supporting the patients with their activities of daily living
• Engage with the patients through casual talk and activities
• Document all care and communicate through report with designated staff member
• Report issues to the licensed clinical charge person
• Monitor visitors for unsafe materials
• Maintain regular checks and documentation

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification within 6 months of hire
• Previous position held in a healthcare setting preferred.
