As Project Procurement Manager you will primarily be responsible for building, qualifying and maintaining a resilient network of subcontractors, EPC contractors and specialized service providers for the execution of BESS projects
Identifying, approaching, pre-qualifying and onboarding subcontractors, EPCs and specialized service providers
Establishing a reliable partner network for planning, BoP, assembly, electrical installation, civil works, grid connection, protection technology and commissioning
Conducting project-related tenders for services and trades in the BESS environment
Supporting price, contract and terms negotiations with subcontractors and service providers
Contributing to the development and maintenance of framework agreements, price lists and procurement standards
Assessing delivery capability, quality, responsiveness and project fit of potential partners
Closely coordinating with Operations, Engineering and Project Management on scope of services, interfaces and procurement priorities
Defining, managing and reporting relevant procurement KPIs
Maintaining contract and procurement documentation in the ERP system
Prospectively supporting the development of component procurement for central BESS trades and main components

Several years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing or partner management in a project-oriented environment
Experience in acquiring, qualifying and managing subcontractors, service providers or project partners
Good understanding of project-related tenders, scope definitions and contractual fundamentals
Confident in price and terms negotiations as well as in evaluating service provider offers
Structured, pragmatic and data-driven working style
Clear, professional communication and ability to work independently
Experience in accurate maintenance of procurement and contract data
Technical basic knowledge in electrical engineering or infrastructural project environments is an advantage
Initial exposure to BESS, energy projects or EPC structures is an advantage
German at least C1, English at least B2
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to a reasonable extent
