Role Overview
- Design, build, and maintain features and improvements on APIs, services, and systems
- Solve technical problems of different scopes and complexity
- Debug and fix production issues across services
- Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain quality
- Work with engineers to build and maintain new features at a large scale
- Implement solutions to recognised impediments to team efficiency
Requirements
- Significant professional experience building large, highly available systems
- Experience as a team or technical lead
- Fundamental knowledge of Node, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Ability to write code that meets standards for style, maintainability, testability, and best practices
- Ability to think through product requirements for problem-solving without compromising quality
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience
