Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses.
Execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
Deliver and participate in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.
Monitor and follow-up on open orders, including GR (Goods Receipt) booking reminders.
Track the procurement processes and activities and create and update reports as required, following the ABB standards.
Ensure effective and transparent communication internally, externally, and between different units and centers.
Execute changes related to purchasing and logistics within your own area of responsibility.
Resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery in your assigned area.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
Maintain and update material master data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Supplier registration and qualification.
Escalation management (1st level support).
SAP Maintenance.
Requirements
Proficient in business English (B2/C1).
German (B2/C1) would be an asset.
Experience in operational procurement/SCM area.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Customer focus with proactive attitude.
Hands-on experience with SAP / SAP Ariba would be an asset.
Advanced Excel skills would be an asset.
