Responsible for driving sales growth and market adoption of Aroa Biosurgery’s products within an assigned geographic territory.
Managing relationships with surgeons, clinicians, hospital decision-makers, and distributors.
Conducting product presentations, in-servicing, and clinical education in operating rooms and outpatient care settings.
Identifying new business opportunities and executing territory sales plans.
Providing feedback from the field to inform marketing, product development, and customer support initiatives.
Forecasting and reporting on sales activities, maintaining accurate CRM records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
Consistent customer site visits, conference attendance and training events, and collaboration with cross-functional internal teams.
Requirements
Proven success in medical device, biotech, or healthcare sales, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in surgical specialties such as reconstructive, trauma, plastics, general, colorectal, orthopedic, and lower extremity surgery is highly desirable.
Minimum of three years’ operating room (OR) sales experience within relevant surgical disciplines, with demonstrated exposure to hospital and clinical environments including operating rooms and outpatient clinics.
Strong ability to develop and manage a sales territory, including prospecting, account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and driving consistent commercial outcomes.
Established credibility and relationship-building skills with surgeons, clinicians, hospital staff, and procurement/supply chain stakeholders, with the ability to influence across complex healthcare environments.
Clinical aptitude and confidence working in operating theatre settings, including supporting product demonstrations, case support, and the ability to learn and communicate complex medical and biological concepts (e.g., cellular biology and tissue healing/remodeling).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
Strong commercial acumen, competitive drive, and a results-focused mindset, with the initiative to create momentum, take ownership, and work independently in the field.
High level of organization, self-motivation, and time management, with the ability to prioritize effectively across a territory.
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software for territory management, reporting, documentation, and forecasting.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
