Participate in the electronic design and development of IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring.
Work on PCB design, circuit development, component selection, and hardware validation.
Support the development, testing, and debugging of electronic prototypes and production-ready devices.
Program and test microcontrollers, with a focus on embedded systems and low-power devices.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure integration between hardware, software, and mechanical design.
Contribute to the improvement of device reliability, manufacturability, and field performance.
Support R&D projects in collaboration with electrical utilities and industrial partners.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design revisions.
Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototyping, production, and quality improvements.
Contribute to product certification processes and compliance-related activities when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in electronic product development.
Strong knowledge of PCB design tools and electronic circuit design.
Experience with microcontroller programming and embedded systems.
Ability to read, create, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
