Role Overview
Process and code transactions accurately across all accounts- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable end to end
- Follow up and distribute client invoices in a timely manner
- Handle supplier and staff payments
- Prepare financial reports including P&L and cash flow summaries
- Reconcile accounts and close off jobs in the system
- Support and guide one to two finance assistants
- Liaise directly with Australian leadership on reporting and financial queries
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date
Requirements
- Solid, hands-on experience in an accounts or finance role
- you are comfortable doing the work yourself, not just managing others
- Proficiency in MYOB
- this is essential and non-negotiable
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Good English communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience managing or supporting junior team members
- Comfortable working in a structured office environment in Jaen Nice to Have
- Accounting or finance qualification (CPA or equivalent)
- Experience working with Australian businesses or clients
- Background in events, logistics, transport, or service-based industries
