Provide expert advice to managers and colleagues on employee relations, absence, performance, discipline and grievance matters, ensuring consistency and fairness
Contribute to engagement activities, HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage a varied ER caseload, ensuring compliance with employment law, policies and best practice
Support payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the function
Lead absence management, long-term sickness and return-to-work processes, driving initiatives to reduce absence levels
Requirements
Experience in a similar HR Advisor or generalist role, ideally within a fast-paced operational or logistics environment
Able to build trusted relationships at all levels and challenge with credibility and professionalism
Confident advising on policies, employee relations and change management, with excellent attention to detail
Experience or exposure to payroll processes
CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards this
