Assist Finance Business Partner and Financial Planning Manager with variance analysis, regular forecasting and the annual financial planning process
Design and run regular training for budget holders to ensure they understand their responsibilities in finance processes
Support for budget holders within the network to ensure they are well equipped to make financial decisions and achieve impact in their areas of work
Assist with reviews of the grant budgets and financial reports from our grantees
Support the finance team in the month end closure process, particularly with funding source allocations
Work with other members of the team to undertake financial due diligence for new and existing grantees, consultants and service providers
Other related tasks and responsibilities as agreed with the line manager
Requirements
Experience working as part of a finance team, ideally in a non-profit sector, with FP&A responsibilities.
Experience in drafting and/or reviewing management reports.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites. Especially Excel & google sheets
Experience with NetSuite, Pigment and/or SmartSimple is an advantage.
Experience with financial planning software
Logical and structural approach to problems.
Ability to identify issues and investigate/escalate in a professional and timely manner
