Partners closely with Risk, Compliance, and Security to ensure platforms meet the highest standards for auditability, data protection, and governance
Executes large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, including zero-downtime migrations of mission-critical workloads
Builds and scales high-performing teams while delivering material cost efficiencies and operational improvements through platform standardization and automation

12+ years of experience in software engineering and platform engineering
Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native data platforms on AWS/GCP/Azure, including managed database services (e.g., Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB Atlas)
Demonstrated expertise in high-availability, fault-tolerant architecture, including multi-region/availability zone deployments, resiliency testing, and SLO-driven engineering
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, and automation of platform provisioning and deployment
Strong understanding of data platform patterns, including real-time data processing, change data capture (CDC), and large-scale data migration strategies
Experience working in highly regulated environments, partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Security to meet audit, governance, and data protection requirements
Proven ability to lead and scale global engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and driving engineering excellence
Track record of delivering large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable impact on cost optimization (FinOps), performance, and time-to-market.
