Role Overview
- Development and continuous enhancement of a modern payment platform for e-commerce and POS applications
- Design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs
- Integration of leading payment providers and payment services
- Designing robust processes for webhooks, routing, error handling, and transaction processing
- Close collaboration with product, architecture, security experts, and management
- Technical contribution to the platform architecture and related technology decisions
- Creation of technical documentation and API specifications for partners and customers
- Ensuring high quality, security, and performance standards
- Willingness to attend important meetings on site
Requirements
- Several years of experience in backend development
- Strong understanding of modern API architectures
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or comparable backend technologies
- Ideally, knowledge of payments, FinTech, or transaction-based systems
- Understanding of scalable cloud architectures and modern software development practices
- Interest in security topics and secure software architectures
- Independent and structured way of working
- Very good German or English language skills
