Provide strategic direction, leadership and support for category management and strategic sourcing to achieve corporate objectives
Develop, present and maintain relevant strategies for sub-categories (contingent workforce, business services, IT services)
Translate plans into a 12-month rolling pipeline of strategic sourcing projects to prioritize and maintain in DevOps
Execute sourcing projects in compliance with the established strategic framework
Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers on a defined cadence
Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key stakeholders
Promote GPSM’s value by identifying collaboration opportunities
Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers (in collaboration with Legal) to achieve optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and savings objectives
Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives focused on agile, pragmatic principles
Act as an effective change agent, working with senior leadership and business teams to support sustainable change
Collaborate with business leaders to balance cost, risk and speed while meeting objectives
Be a driving force for change in a fast-evolving environment
Requirements
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management
Proven experience in corporate services procurement
Knowledge of IT procurement
University degree in procurement, business administration, finance, engineering or a related field
Relevant certifications (ISM CPSM, CIPS, SCMP, etc.) – an asset
Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen
Results-oriented and customer-focused
Agile and able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with authority
Ability to interact with predominantly English-speaking stakeholders
