You drive the expansion of KION ITS into a comprehensive intralogistics provider and continuously develop the software business around WMS, WES, WCS, MFC, fleet control and automation solutions.
You perform software assessments, analyze customer requirements and specify end-to-end solutions — from manual warehouse processes to fully automated systems with AGVs, AMRs, shuttle systems and ASRS applications.
You prepare requirements analyses, process designs, architecture concepts and technical specifications and ensure integration into existing IT and automation landscapes.
You support the entire sales process through presentations, workshops, demos, and the preparation and successful defense of proposals up to contract award.
You identify new business potential for software solutions and digital services and develop corresponding go-to-market and solution approaches.
You enable the EMEA-wide sales and project network through trainings, workshops and close collaboration and establish software expertise as an integral part of the solution portfolio.
You help shape processes, methods and structures in the software business and work closely with Sales, Product Management, Implementation and Service.
You act as the central point of contact for intralogistics software solutions in the EMEA region and accompany customer projects from needs analysis and solution design to proposal preparation, implementation, service and lifecycle management.
Requirements
Several years of professional experience in IT/software and logistics/intralogistics with a focus on intralogistics software solutions (WMS, WES, WCS, MFC, fleet control) and automation systems.
Experience in sales, solution consulting or sales of software solutions as well as in conducting software assessments, requirements analyses, product demos, technical specifications and proposal preparations.
Solid understanding of material flow processes and of mobile and stationary automation solutions (e.g., AGVs, AMRs, shuttle systems, ASRS).
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working combined with a strong drive to shape things and enjoyment in developing and presenting innovative software solutions.
Strong customer orientation, negotiation, presentation and moderation skills as well as good organizational and project management abilities.
Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (approx. 20%) and business-fluent German and English language skills.
Successfully completed degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification.
