The Senior Operations Manager manages the clinical aspects of our dialysis business within a defined region through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, and clinical management.
Maintains strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with all teammates, clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.), and physicians.
This person practices cost containment strategies for all major cost inputs including staffing ratios affecting payroll, hiring (including agency as a last resort), and inventory/supplies, all while ensuring compliance with applicable company and state regulatory requirements.
Assumes "ownership mentality" of each facility in their region.
Maintains full oversight for operational efficiency, clinical excellence, customer service/relationship-development, financial prudence, and regional leadership.
Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching for all direct reports and clinical staff to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
Ensures all employees in the region receive the required training and education according to company policy and compliance with continued education.
Oversight of staff retention (This could include staff appreciation, continuing education, engagement surveys, and any other activity that enhances the working environment for staff).
Requirements
Graduated from an Accredited Nursing School or 2 years of experience working in a correctional institution or industry that serves correctional institutions or 5+ years of dialysis management experience.
Management of clinical employees in a leadership role for at least 3 years
Ability to be cleared by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP): CLEAN background and credit required
Current CPR Certification (or within 3 months of hire)
Ability to travel as needed for management of sites within the US. Travel may be heavy at times.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and satisfactorily communicate in English
Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
Ability to quickly learn a variety of technical systems and equipment.
