Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and managing various aspects of employee benefits programs.
Act as a liaison between clients and vendors, overseeing compliance and regulatory issues.
Support marketing and renewal processes.
Play a key role in business development initiatives and internal collaboration to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Resolve complicated service issues and escalate for further assistance when needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, communication, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and high school diploma/equivalent is required.
3+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry, ideally with an employer, insurer/administrator, consultant, or broker.
Experience in managing, implementing, and renewing group health & welfare plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
State Life & Health Insurance License (Required within 3 months of hire).
Strong understanding of ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and other relevant employee benefit regulations.
Strong public speaking, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficient in Agency Management Systems (i.e. EPIC, BenefitPoint, ImageRight).
Strong organizational, project planning, and management skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects.
Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving and resolution skills.
Capable of working independently and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while upholding professionalism.
