Help define the architecture and technical direction of the Poesis platform
Design and build scalable systems for financial data ingestion, processing, storage and access
Build the infrastructure that supports research, model development, real-time multiagent inference, and production decision-making
Design point-in-time data architectures that ensure reproducibility, historical accuracy and research integrity
Define platform standards for data architecture, APIs, reliability, reproducibility and explainability
Partner closely with researchers, quantitative developers and leadership to translate research into production.
Define and evolve engineering processes that allow the team to ship quickly, reliably and predictably
Recruit, develop and manage a high-performing engineering team

5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years building products or platforms at a frontier AI lab, agentic startup, leading hedge fund, big tech company, or similar
2+ years of leadership and/or management experience
Strong systems design skills architecting distributed, data-intensive, and event-driven platforms
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with bonus for TypeScript, Go, or Rust
Success designing and operating modern AI and agentic systems, including LLMs, orchestration, evaluation, and ML infrastructure
Basic understanding of financial markets and a personal or professional interest in investing
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
