About this role
Role Overview
Control inventory and plan the demand for the Rock Tools Region Central Africa
Lead the area Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings for areas of responsibility
Collect forecast data and perform gap or trend analysis
Recommend process improvements to stakeholders
Communicate and collaborate forecasting and inventory management data
Provide feedback and make recommendations to create orders according to the forecast
Support internal departments to improve inventory management
Maintain inventory parameters in collaboration with regional manager
Perform replenishment planning based on forecast
Release orders according to system requisitions and customer orders
Manage expediting requests from regions
Perform detailed inventory analysis and optimize inventory levels
Work with stakeholders to establish inventory strategies and monitor relevant indicators
Requirements
Matric/equivalent qualification
BCom Supply Chain Management qualification
Knowledge of S&OP process
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience in root cause analysis
Excellent time management skills
Ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail
Ability to implement and own process changes
Good presentation skills (verbal and written)
Experience with any forecasting tools
Valid drivers' license
