Role Overview
- Control inventory and plan the demand for the Rock Tools Region Central Africa
- Lead the area Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings for areas of responsibility
- Collect forecast data and perform gap or trend analysis
- Recommend process improvements to stakeholders
- Communicate and collaborate forecasting and inventory management data
- Provide feedback and make recommendations to create orders according to the forecast
- Support internal departments to improve inventory management
- Maintain inventory parameters in collaboration with regional manager
- Perform replenishment planning based on forecast
- Release orders according to system requisitions and customer orders
- Manage expediting requests from regions
- Perform detailed inventory analysis and optimize inventory levels
- Work with stakeholders to establish inventory strategies and monitor relevant indicators
Requirements
- Matric/equivalent qualification
- BCom Supply Chain Management qualification
- Knowledge of S&OP process
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in root cause analysis
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Ability to implement and own process changes
- Good presentation skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with any forecasting tools
- Valid drivers' license
