Role Overview
- Provide technical support to clients and internal staff to resolve issues
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure an exceptional experience
- Demonstrate excellent self-management skills and follow up on tasks
- Produce clear, professional technical documentation for clients and internal staff
- Handle remote and on-site support tickets for workstations, printers, and end-user support
- Perform break/fix repairs
- Provide on-site support as required
- Deploy RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management)
- Prepare workstations in the workshop
- Manage tickets independently and follow up on additional requests
- Deliver exemplary documentation and communication
- Take on escalations from lower support levels
- Demonstrate a strong sense of duty to ensure issues are resolved and clients are fully satisfied
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups with users and team members as needed
- Participate in team support outside regular business hours
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or college diploma in Computer Systems Technology, with a minimum of one (1) year of field experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
- Knowledge of implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the following: VPNs, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, Microsoft servers, SAN, MS Exchange, Terminal Server services, Active Directory, virtualization, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and data backup
