Reimbursement Specialist

Role Overview

• Our Reimbursement (Claims) Specialists manage the most complex government claims, working them through claim edit work queues.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission of claims in accordance with payer guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Analyzes payer errors and rejections to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role Required
• Epic experience
• Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle, specific to area of expertise (I.e. transplant, research, or client billing) Preferred
