Role Overview
Drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function
Interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination
Manage cross-functional, technology-led, and product-focused programs, including schedule, budget, and tollgate processes for NPI, requisition, and sustaining initiatives
Oversee resource and budget allocation/integration while ensuring program outputs align with customer Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements
Serve as the primary interface for contractors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to drive project alignment and delivery
Provide direct leadership, including hiring, staffing, and performance management
Leverage in-depth technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute strategy, proposing innovative solutions for complex manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles
Act as a subject matter expert, guiding junior team members and leading small-scale, low-risk projects to successful completion
Synthesize data from multiple internal and external sources to drive informed decisions and achieve team consensus on complex topics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
4+ years of experience in a related Engineering field
Minimum 1 year of experience within program management
OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
4+ years of experience related to program management working alongside an engineering organization
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Proven track record of identifying and implementing effective, data-driven solutions
Full-cycle proficiency in documenting, planning, promoting, and executing complex programs
Experience in leading cross-functional projects from inception to completion
PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP-level training
