Role Overview
- Define LiveKit’s motion language from the ground up
- Lead motion for major launches and campaigns including announcement videos and social cuts
- Bring LiveKit’s website and key marketing surfaces to life with thoughtful animation
- Build reusable motion systems and workflows for efficient high-quality motion work
- Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, product, and design engineering teams
Requirements
- Standout motion portfolio across brand and marketing work
- Excellent with After Effects and have a modern motion toolkit
- Strong foundational design skills: type, composition, pacing, hierarchy, and taste
- Ability to drive the work from concept to final export
- Deep care for the details — timing, easing, transitions, rhythm
- Curiosity about how AI can enhance the creative process
- Comfortable bringing motion to the web through Lottie, Rive, CSS/SVG, prototyping tools
- Ability to make technical ideas feel simple, sharp, and exciting
