Role Overview
The candidate will join the FX Sales Desk team, working daily on the currency closing routines for cooperative members, analyzing and classifying transactions to their most appropriate purpose, and maintaining close contact with the Treasury Desk (proprietary desk) for currency pricing and any necessary transaction adjustments.
Analyze, verify and review the control of executed transactions, ensuring appropriate communication and professional conduct.
Must be organized, disciplined and execution-focused.
Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
Strong ability to follow rules and regulations.
Provide consultative support to cooperatives and members on products involving foreign exchange and international trade operations.
Monitor cooperative members’ journeys with empathy and responsibility for completing processes, demonstrating proactivity and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in International Trade, Business Administration, or Economics.
Knowledge of spot foreign exchange operations and trade finance.
Desirable knowledge of currency derivatives and related products.
Prior experience on an FX trading desk is a plus.
Knowledge of the Exchange foreign-exchange system is a plus.
Prior experience in the financial markets is a plus.
Intermediate or advanced English (reading, writing and speaking).
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to remain calm and respond positively under constant pressure.
Good organizational judgment and the ability to handle concurrent activities are essential.
