Perform market analyses to grow Cargill’s Agriculture & Trading, Food, and Animal Nutrition lines of business.
Analyze competitor market shares and identify new opportunities in these areas.
Develop and test hypotheses, qualitative and quantitative data gathering and analysis working towards feasible solutions.
Research conditions in local, regional, national, or online markets and gather information to determine potential for organic or inorganic growth opportunities.
Plan and structure work in support of team leaders and overall project management.
Prepare written and verbal communications, including storyline development and executive presentation preparation with clear insights and crisp recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners in order to capture information and build consensus for recommendations.
Project manage cross-functional teams to drive accountability for outcomes, leaning in to overcome roadblocks and solve problems when critical organizational initiatives go off-track.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field and 2 years of related work experience in the food and agriculture industry; OR Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field and 5 years of related work experience in the food and agriculture industry.
Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Conducting stakeholder interviews to gather data on market trends and operational challenges;
Delivering verbal presentations to senior leadership, including explaining core findings, making recommendations, and facilitating discussion to understand reactions, questions, and next steps;
Utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Power BI to develop presentation materials that communicate data-driven insights and strategic recommendations; and
Utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze data and build financial or other quantitative models.
