Responsible for some functions of the materials department, including production scheduling, materials planning, purchasing and inventory control
Assigns, monitors, and manages the daily workload of schedulers, buyers, and planners to ensure efficient operations and achievement of departmental goals
Develops and implements production and material schedules in such a way that inventory targets are met while also maintaining high customer service levels
Drives continuous improvement of material planning and control processes, optimizing parameters to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
Establishes and maintains effective planning procedures, work schedules, and operating instructions, ensuring consistent execution and operational excellence
Monitors and coordinates material flow, inventory management, and planning activities to support business objectives and operational performance
Builds and develops a high-performing materials team
Provides leadership and direction to planners, buyers, schedulers, and inventory control personnel, ensuring efficient execution of daily activities and alignment with site goals.
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in logistics, materials management, supply chain, or a related operational environment
Bachelor's degree
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Proven leadership experience, including the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a global and multicultural environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
Advanced English language proficiency, both written and verbal
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
