sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
while keeping the backlog healthy and well-groomed.
Translating requirements into technical clarity. Working with the Product Manager to break down product requirements into clear, well-scoped tasks that give engineers enough technical detail to move quickly and confidently.
Tracking delivery and surfacing risk. You’ll flag blockers, slipping dependencies, and cross-team conflicts to the Product Manager early.
Holding the team accountable to sprint commitments. Keeping the team focused day-to-day, following up on commitments, and maintaining delivery discipline.
Supporting the Product Manager by owning day-to-day development coordination.
Requirements
2+ years as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or delivery lead, ideally with a software development team building a product from early stages.
Experience working in a regulated environment (healthcare, fintech) is a plus.
Confident agile facilitator
you run ceremonies that people find useful and you keep backlogs healthy without micromanaging engineers.
Strong communicator
you collaborate effectively with the Product Manager to break requirements down into clear, technically actionable tasks that engineers can build.
Comfortable holding the team accountable to sprint commitments, with a proactive instinct for spotting and escalating blockers before they threaten delivery.
Familiarity with software development concepts and terminology
enough to understand technical discussions and translate them for non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
Organized and self-directed
comfortable owning the agile process for a team independently, with light day-to-day oversight from the Product Manager.
Excellent English communication skills.
