Role Overview
- Establish collaborative relationships with agencies and producers
- Evaluate routine business for risk acceptability
- Match price to exposure, loss frequency, and severity for profitability
- Generate and maintain a profitable book of business
- Drive profitable sale of Company's products
- Monitor production and quality of assigned producers
- Produce marketing research to identify opportunities for management
- Utilize underwriting authority to effectively price Company’s products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Business, Accounting, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training required
- Current driver’s license required
- Ability to apply fundamental Underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as submissions, loss control reports, and standard policy form/endorsements
- 40-50% travel required
