Role Overview
- Execute Lean initiatives across the GSC Repairs Value Stream Plants
- Establish and execute a Lean Roadmap considering Hoshin Kanri strategic objectives
- Secure SQDC priorities through the planning and execution of Kaizen events, MOR's reviews and Daily Management
- Utilize consistent application of Lean Tools for each assigned site
- Assist in revitalizing a common GSC Lean System
- Use VSM to focus and drive improvement
- Lead and mentor leaders by holding Transformation Events targeting sections of the processes or entire processes
- Establish functional integration for lead time and inventory reductions within the Value Stream
- Assist in maintaining a Lean Leader at each site
- Responsible for the execution and action plan follow-up from the SGRA's on each Plant
- Secure the Sustainable Productivity HK objectives
- Responsible for planning and execution of Shingijutsu events
- Lead and execute activities for CEO, Earth, S&Q Kaizen Weeks and Hoshin Week
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (for roles in USA)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in deployment of Lean in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of implementing significant improvement in lead time, cost, and inventory turns year-over year while securing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Lean deployment for multiple sites
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Established project management skills
- Lean mindset
- Demonstrated leadership experience at the Sr Management Level
- Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent certification
- Strong change management skills
