Identify and vet specialty physicians (All specialties, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, PM&R, etc.), ensuring full state coverage in California.
Maintain working knowledge of physician networks and recruitment processes.
Collaborate with healthcare and insurance organizations to streamline recruitment efforts.
Utilize computer platforms to analyze network gaps and optimize recruitment efficiency.
Manage relationships with high-level medical specialists for recruitment initiatives.
Requirements
An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set.
Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology.
Strong negotiation skills, critical thinking, organizational skills, ability to manage time efficiently, and to meet specific deadlines.
Computer literacy and typing skills required.
3+ years in Physician Recruitment, specifically within the IME, Workers' Comp, or Medicolegal space.
2-5 years in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services.
Familiarity with the California DWC, the QME/AME process, and the Medical-Legal Fee Schedule.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, "cold-calling" and pitching skills; ability to speak the language of high-level medical specialists.
Ability to use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and doctor fee trends.
