Role Overview
- Plan and manage production or purchase of materials to meet customer demand
- Analyze inventory records and create inventory strategy
- Manage material flow from suppliers through order fulfillment
- Expedite and de-expedite orders as necessary
- Partner with suppliers and internal fulfillment teams for improvement opportunities
- Monitor daily exception reports to identify and resolve inventory issues
- Place Purchase Orders or Production Orders as necessary
- Participate in and lead various projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or HS/GED and 7 years of experience
- Basic/general PC Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
- 5 years of supply management/inventory management experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
