Responsible for the supervision of operational accounting, including month end close processes, internal reporting, financial analysis, billing, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure that the system of internal controls is followed to support the Manager of Operational Accounting position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or a related discipline.
A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
Proven track record of hiring, evaluating and development of accounting professionals and clerical help.
Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting and financial principles.
General understanding and demonstrated ability with computerized accounting systems, financial modeling, budgets, operations analysis, and management reporting.
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
