Serve as a surgeon for the Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, Emory Critical Care Center (ECCC) within the Department of Surgery
Participate in the supervision, clinical education, training and development of residents
Teach and Leadership of Emory students and trainees
Participate equitably with general surgery and emergency general surgery call at the EUH campus
Develop academic portfolio in alignment with SOM goals
Participation in hospital and health system quality initiatives and relevant committees
Requirements
Board Certified General Surgeon
While not a requirement, additional fellowship training in trauma, critical care or an accredited acute care surgery fellowship will be considered favorably
A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
