Oversee the College’s social media presence as a member of the storytelling team
Develop engaging, platform-specific stories promoting Wellesley student life and educational experiences
Track and analyze social media metrics to optimize engagement
Respond to inquiries/comments on various social platforms timely
Monitor social media conversations for negative content and copyright infringements
Stay current on social media trends and best practices
Manage student workers and coordinate social media editorial calendar
Ensure social content is accessibility compliant

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years experience developing platform-specific stories and managing social media accounts
Ability to create engaging social media content using photos, videos, and graphics
Ability to analyze key performance metrics and report on social media analytics
Working knowledge of creative applications including Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various constituencies including College departments, students, and faculty.
