Role Overview
Responsible for Mechanical Nuclear Island Hydraulic Systems (MNIHS) engineering activities that support the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) design
Overall ownership of mechanical design for various systems
Construction support of the DNNP-1 SMR currently under construction
Procurement support of the DNNP-1 project
Conduct component and product integration
Manage product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down
Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product/system
Responsible for defining product requirements and managing interfaces
Requirements
0 to 3 years of experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Systems Engineering within the nuclear industry
B.S. in engineering discipline from accredited university or college
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, and execute programs
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening
