Oversees the day-to-day underwriting operations including budget and staff planning

7 years Underwriting
2 years in a supervisory role OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above
Extensive knowledge of underwriting policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of automated systems
Demonstrates efficient supervisory/motivational ability
Knowledge of the reinsurance market
Knowledge of presentation software
Professional designation, certification, or association
