We are seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to support our ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented finance perspective.
You will act as the link between accounting business units and technical ERP teams, ensuring that financial processes are properly designed, implemented, and optimized.
The role also includes business advisory responsibilities to define target business processes and map them in the system.
You will play a key role in translating FI/CO requirements into ERP configurations and advise clients on a smooth transition to new systems.
Responsibilities include: leading accounting workstreams in ERP implementation projects; analyzing and redesigning financial processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, etc.); implementing accounting requirements in ERP system configurations; supporting chart of accounts design and financial data migration; defining reporting structures and compliance requirements; running workshops with clients’ finance teams; supporting testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities; ensuring adherence to local GAAP/IFRS requirements; and identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, Steuerberater) is highly desirable.
Experience consulting for German and/or European companies.
In-depth knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS and EU financial regulations.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and period-end close processes.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
Experience in ERP implementation projects is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Very good German language skills.
