About this role
Role Overview
- Participate in the definition of structural concepts.
- Analyze complex structures and major assemblies.
- Follow up with clients to provide reports on the quality of analyses.
- Participate in defining certification tests.
- Contribute to the writing and validation of certification reports.
- Participate in the development and improvement of calculation methodologies.
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines related to structural loads and materials.
- Review and verify reports produced by other team members.
- Support the project manager in planning the workload.
- Assist with proposal submissions.
- Share technical knowledge with team members.
- Draft quality procedures.
- Serve as the stress engineering point of reference for weight-team projects.
- Support SOGECLAIR on projects to develop new clients.
- Understand the AS9100 standard requirements related to the responsibilities of this position. Comply with the company QMS procedures and apply the related tools during task execution.
- Perform any other related duties.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- A strong sense of responsibility regarding assigned tasks.
- Must have solid analytical skills.
- Able to manage responsibilities and adapt to workflow.
- Must demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Able to take initiative.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 design and modeling software.
- Knowledge of ENOVIA design software.
- Knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, FEMAP and HYPERMESH software.
- Bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken, is an asset.
