Budget Ownership: Manage and optimize the departmental budget across hardware, software, software licensing, and cloud services to ensure maximum ROI.
System Oversight: Oversee all internal corporate IT functions, including end-user support, network administration, application management, and security policies.
Security & Compliance: Guard the fort. Ensure the entire corporate IT environment meets strict compliance standards and industry-leading security practices.
Workplace Innovation: Continuously evaluate and roll out new tools and technologies that supercharge employee collaboration and productivity.
Scale the Product: Plan and maintain the core infrastructure hosting GiG’s premier B2B iGaming products, prioritizing scalability, high availability, and bulletproof disaster recovery.
Vendor Ecosystem: Cultivate and manage strong partnerships with critical third-party vendors, managed services, hardware suppliers, and cloud providers.
Keep the Lights On: Drive operational processes—including incident response, change management, and configuration management—to guarantee 24/7/365 availability.
Modernize Infrastructure: Be a champion for automation, comprehensive monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.
Requirements
Proven Leadership: Extensive experience managing and mentoring mid-sized technical teams (15+ specialists) in a fast-moving environment.
iGaming or High-Availability Experience: A strong background managing high-traffic, B2B SaaS platforms where downtime is not an option.
Tech Savvy: Deep familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
Financial Acumen: Comfortable managing a substantial departmental budget and driving vendor negotiations.
Operational Resilience: Exceptional incident management skills with a proven track record of maintaining 24/7/365 operations.
