Personal Insurance Portfolio Manager

Role Overview

• Provide prompt, professional service for clients' day-to-day needs
• Maintain thorough documentation for each file, in compliance with HUB standards and the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
• Manage client file activities
• Assist in preparing placement strategies, service proposals, insurance summaries, and condition comparisons
• Prepare and submit requests to insurers
• Conduct necessary follow-ups with insurers and clients
• Verify the accuracy of insurance policies and endorsements, and follow up on required corrections
• Prepare insurer quotes, client proposals, and coverage memos
• Draft instructions for certificates of insurance and ensure their compliance
• Prepare billing instructions
• Ensure accurate billing
• Contribute to rigorous accounts receivable follow-up
• Reconcile account discrepancies
• Ensure timely processing of renewals

Requirements

• College diploma (Diploma of College Studies, DEC)
• Valid AMF licence — Personal Property and Casualty (Personal Lines) Insurance
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of English, essential for communications and transactions with our international clientele
• Strong attention to detail
