Develop, edit, and finalize customized presentations, pitch decks, and RFP responses for new business opportunities and client meetings that reflect Simpson’s dominance in the funds market
Serve as a go-to resource for the Firm’s Funds credentials by ensuring initiatives, services and significant matters are publicized internally and externally in accordance with Firm policy
Conduct research and provide analysis about clients, competitors, markets, trends and industries
Maintain and ensure the integrity of the funds-related data for the Firm’s CRM system and other core information
Work with Senior Funds CDE team to ensure consistent communication of key initiatives and cross-practice opportunities
Aggregate and interpret key metrics for internal and external stakeholders to inform BD strategies
Prepare and manage submissions and survey responses for funds-related directories and publications
Assist in maintaining website content, attorney biographies and practice group descriptions across multiple channels
Coordinate the creation of marketing materials
Build trusted relationships across the CDE team, corporate practice teams, and firmwide departments to deliver coordinated and effective results
Assist in coordinating Firm-sponsored events, presentations and event logistics
Support Funds Client Development projects and other Firm initiatives as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, English, communications, marketing or related field
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed
Strong attention to detail and self-motivated to produce accurate, timely and complete work product
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Strong project management skills, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Proven strong technical and presentation skills with value add essential in the role
Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
