About this role
Role Overview
Provide income tax, estate planning, and/or wealth planning consultations to Vanguard advised clients
Review client's information and relevant documentation, research client issues, perform analysis to provide suggested solutions, and create client deliverables
Support wealth and estate planning crew who provide consultations to Vanguard's largest net worth clients within advice offer
Partner with financial advisors as they support clients in these subject areas and follow Vanguard's investment methodology
Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on wealth planning topics
Assist in developing financial planning methodology for Vanguard's advice offer
Analyze internal systems and processes to identify opportunities to improve the client experience and mitigate risk
Maintain strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures, as well as general market trends
Support department and team initiatives
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Undergraduate degree required
Graduate degree (JD, MBA, Master of Tax) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Minimum of five years related work experience in a related field and two years of project management experience preferred
Experience in financial services encouraged
CFP, CPA, and/or active Law License preferred
