Junior Lawyer – Legal Controllership

Role Overview

• Provide strategic case monitoring for matters under the Legal Controllership’s responsibility
• Manage and monitor court deadlines, internal deadlines, scheduling, and concurrent demands
• Monitor publications and court notices, ensuring accurate analysis, recording, and internal routing
• Perform case analysis and interpret judicial decisions
• Record legal information clearly, concisely, and in a standardized manner in internal systems
• Support verification of case information, promoting standardization and the prevention of operational errors
• Oversee operational control of internal workflows within the Legal Controllership
• Use electronic court systems and legal case management and administrative software

Requirements

• Active OAB registration (Rio de Janeiro chapter)
• Minimum of 12 months' experience in the area
• Knowledge of Legal Controllership
• Experience managing deadlines and monitoring judicial publications/notices
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Civil Law, with emphasis on Consumer Law
• Familiarity with legal case management and administrative software
• Experience with electronic court systems such as PJe, Projudi, ESAJ, EPROC, PROMAD, among others
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
