Deliver engaging, individualized virtual occupational therapy tailored to each student's functional goals, developmental delays, and unique learning profile.
Create structured intervention plans that align with student IEP goals, targeting areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Adapt instruction and therapeutic exercises in real time based on student engagement, motor performance, and home environment constraints, creatively using household items or digital platforms to keep sessions interactive and effective.
Track student data and communicate effectively with families, IEP teams, and school district partners to ensure regulatory compliance and transparent progress reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
Valid state licensure/certification as an OT (or willingness to obtain reciprocity).
Experience delivering teletherapy or working within a school district K-12 setting is a strong plus.
Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
