Licensed Vocational Nurse, Supervisor

Role Overview

• Responsible for the day-to-day back office operations of the clinic by overseeing the employees in providing nursing care to the clinic patients.
• Implementing and assuring quality medical management and cost containment health services to patients.
• Overseeing planning, development, implementation, and evaluation/improvement of clinical care services/programs, which include patient experience, patient safety, HEDIS, and value-based care quality measures.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LVN school, coupled with a Current LVN license issued by the State of California required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing patient care in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
• Current IV Certification preferred (will be required to complete within 6 months of employment).
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is required.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
