Strong familiarity and deep expertise with the following areas of media buying: Media Strategy Development, Negotiation & Purchasing, Campaign Management, Budget Optimization, Performance Analysis, and Market Research.
Supporting the marketing global sourcing lead and team leads in conducting sourcing initiatives — including events, experiential, print, media buying, advertising, sponsorships, etc.
Managing the process of market tenders and subsequent evaluation of bid proposals across a cross-functional team to determine supplier selection.
Understanding business requirements and shaping deals to meet those requirements.
Drafting contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
Negotiating contracts to achieve optimal commercial terms.
Maintaining market awareness of the marketing and advertising landscape and contributing to sourcing area plans and business development.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners, key suppliers, and multiple client groups.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven capability of running multi-million-dollar sourcing projects
Experience in understanding contracts and contract drafting, with limited requirement for specialist legal support
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Analytical skills for interpreting and optimizing campaign performance data.
Knowledge of digital and traditional media landscapes.
Budget management expertise, ability to report on success measures and Key Performance Indicators.
Ability to work with marketing teams and media vendors.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, and PowerPoint presentations
Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and executive project sponsors
Ability to manage multiple priorities, often to tight deadlines, and deliver results
Experience in working with market leading sourcing tools and systems
