Manage multiple projects or programs at the highest level of complexity within a matrix team environment
Provide leadership, direction, training, coordination, and effective communication to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects
Build relationships and effectively communicate with all project stakeholders including internal and external customers, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers to achieve project goals and obtain customer satisfaction
Lead project teams in managing multifaceted contractors, as well as, developing and managing performance-based contracts
Manage, develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff as well as provide guidance of others leading these activities
Develop and actively manage working relationships with plant and operating company staff, internal and external partners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
Provide leadership and coaching to project team members
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and demonstrate highly effective and efficient performance of project work activities on all responsible projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field of study dependent on business unit requirements with twelve (12) years of qualified experience
Two (2) years of experience as a PROJECT MANAGER STAFF (Grade 10) is preferred
Qualified experience includes work in project management, major construction field experience, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, and/or comparable internal or external experience in a competitive production environment
Demonstrated mastery level PM knowledge capability in areas of construction safety, negotiations, scope development and control, cost estimating, construction contracting, project controls and reporting, quality control, risk management, etc.
Experience in utilities, commercial nuclear power, and/or IT systems is favorable
PMP certification required for this position unless approval to waive the requirement is given by the organization's SVP or OPCO President
