About this role

Support the planning of core delivery routes and collections/trunking operations
Plan, update and manage core delivery routes, collections and trunking activities across the network
Coordinate daily network reports, ad-hoc bookings and returns, ensuring accuracy and timely communication
Liaise with customers, depots and operational teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain strong working relationships
Utilise planning tools such as Excel, routing software (Paragon/Aptean) and internal systems to support efficient transport scheduling
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy and enhance service performance

Previous experience within a planning or transport/logistics environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Experience with routing systems such as Paragon is highly beneficial
Excellent attention to detail and confidence analysing data and solving problems
A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
