Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems.
Maintain operational baselines and support application O&M activities.
Monitor and optimize system performance, including CPU, memory, and disk usage.
Implement and enforce security policies and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for troubleshooting system and database issues.
Plan and execute system downtimes for scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and new releases.
Train and mentor staff on server and database management best practices.

BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
Experience performing system monitoring.
Experience with backup management.
Experience implementing performance optimizations.
Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
