Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit.
Support orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of mission applications and services for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
System administration tasking includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, virtual servers, and application software upgrades.
Responsible for Operations and Maintenance tasks, maintaining operational baselines, and supporting application O&M activities including patching, application monitoring, and customer support.
Troubleshoot network and application performance issues and recommend appropriate action.
Work closely with project team members, product subject matter experts, end users, and software engineers to ensure applications remain operational.

BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
Experience performing system monitoring.
Experience with backup management.
Experience implementing performance optimizations.
Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
