Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit.
Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems.
Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission-critical applications and infrastructure services.
Install and configure operating systems, database software, including Oracle, and application software.
Monitor and optimize system performance, including CPU, memory, disk usage, and response times.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system and database issues.
Oversee and validate regular system and database backups. Ensure data integrity.
Requirements
BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
