Role Overview
- Preparing complex drawings of structures and equipment systems
- Drafting project and mechanical system drawings derived from layouts and sketches
- Establishing and following technical specifications to prepare drawings and draft designs
- Consulting with engineers regarding model accuracy and coordinate with shop team for material deliveries to job-sites
- Determining material needs, performing necessary calculations, and tracking all material quantities
Requirements
- 3-7 years experience with AutoCAD, preferably structural concrete drawings
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand structural drawings
- Strong communication skills, able to correspond well with Engineers and Clients
- Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, SolidWorks, BIM/Revit, and MS Office Suite may be given preference
